To connect with a model, photographer or studio, visit their profile and use the contact details provided to get in touch directly. Arrange a suitable date, time and location that works for both parties. We recommend confirming all details in writing.
Browsing and searching the directory is completely free. Creating a basic listing is also free. Premium listing features, such as featured placement and enhanced profiles, are available through our paid plans.
Click 'Create a Listing' from the homepage, sign up or log in, and follow the steps to build your profile. You'll need to add your name, category, location, bio, portfolio images, rates, and availability.
Yes. You can create separate listings for each category. Each listing has its own profile page, portfolio, and rates, so clients searching for models or photographers will find the relevant listing.
CastLocal does not process payments directly. Payment terms are agreed between the client and the professional. We recommend using secure payment methods such as bank transfer or a payment platform, and always getting terms agreed in writing before work begins.
Include your best 10 to 20 images that represent the type of work you want to be hired for. High quality, well-lit images significantly increase the number of enquiries you receive. Make sure images are your own work or you have the rights to use them.
Log in to your CastLocal account, go to your dashboard, and select 'Edit Listing'. You can update your photos, bio, rates, availability and contact details at any time.
Currently CastLocal supports three categories: Models, Photographers and Studios. Each has its own search directory and filter system to help clients find exactly what they need.
Use the search bar on the homepage or visit the Models, Photographers or Studios pages directly. You can filter by location, radius, budget and occasion to narrow down results.
A model listing represents an individual available for shoots, campaigns and events. A photographer listing represents a professional available to shoot those sessions. Both include a portfolio, rates and contact information.
Yes. If your studio has multiple rooms or shooting spaces, you can describe each one within your listing. Include dimensions, equipment, and photos of each space so clients know exactly what is available.
Visit the profile of the user you wish to report and click the 'Report' button. Our team will review all reports within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, please contact us directly through our support page.

A great listing has a clear, professional profile photo, 10 or more portfolio images, a well-written bio, accurate rates, a complete list of specialties, and up-to-date contact information. Listings that are complete and regularly updated appear higher in search results.
